Our Secretary General, Hon. Dr. Abbas Agaba led the discussion that was mainly focused on advancing youth empowerment across the Afro-Arab region.

The main agenda was to establish a collaboration between AAYC and Global Youth Empowerment, especially in creating impactful and lasting youth-centered initiatives.

Mr. Versura already has an ongoing engagement with the Ministry of Youth Affairs in Syria, a member country of AAYC. He also brings on board his expertise from having previously worked in the Italian parliament and civil society.

The Afro-Arab Youth Council (AAYC) has taken a bold and strategic step in advancing youth cooperation across regions by officially inking a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Egyptian Youth Council. The agreement was signed during a high-level engagement where AAYC was represented by its Secretary General, Hon. Dr. Abbas Agaba, alongside his Deputy, Amina Hilmi, while the Egyptian Youth Council was represented by Dr. Mohammed Mamdouh.
